Mardi Gras - At Universal Studios
So, a couple weekends ago Ashley and I were fortunate enough to be able to be on a float for the annual Universal Studios Mardi Gras Celebration. It was absolutely awesome. You felt like you were a rock star. I don’t know how else to describe it. You are up on the floats - in a themed costume - and not only are you allowed to throw things at people, but they are actually screaming at you to do it. It’s fantastic.
Now, I’m from New Orleans, and I can’t even count the number of Mardi Gras parades I’ve been to. But I have to say, it is really something to be on the other side. If you ever get a chance to be on a float for a Mardi Gras parade - DO IT!!
